My approach to therapy is through relationship. I am easy to talk to and really want to understand what it is that you are going through and how you want to grow. The treatment protocol will depend greatly on where you are and what you are trying to accomplish. My goal is to be supportive, encouraging, and at times, challenging.
Treatment can be short or long term. Short term will be solution focused and oriented towards problem solving. At times, you might find longer-term therapy to be helpful and possibly necessary. This will involve reflection and exploration of one’s history and relationships to understand how this impacts current functioning.
